ASSE Philadelphia Chapter 2018-2019 Elections

The following positions are open for election for the 2018-2019 term. Voting will take place in mid- May; all ASSE Philadelphia Chapter members will receive an email with a link to an on-line ballot.

Positions Open

  • Vice President (serves as Vice-President 2018-2019; President-Elect 2019-2020; President 2020-2021; and Past President 2021-2022)
  • Treasurer (2-year term 2018-2020)
  • Delegate (two open positions; 2-year term 2018-2020)

Proposed Amendments to Chapter Bylaws

This past August, ASSE members made the historic decision to change the organization’s name to the American Society of Safety Professionals.

ASSE members voted to amend Society bylaws to reflect the new name. As a separately incorporated entity, our chapter needs to hold a separate chapter member vote to change the name in our bylaws, as well.

PPE Donations Needed

Philly ASSE is facilitating the collection of PPE for workers and volunteers affected by the hurricane in Puerto Rico and the USVI.  Please email the details to ballen4474@gmail.com such as when your donations will be shipped, as well how much and which PPE you are sending so that your organization can be recognized.  The sooner the better! Thank you for your support for hurricane relief efforts.  We need the below items and attached HERE is a more detailed list.
